Oats are a marvellous food, and most people love them, but have you ever had them in an omelette. It sounds weird doesn’t it, but recently a personal training client made me a spiced oat and veg meal to try, it was amazing! This got me thinking what else can you do?

I came across this oats egg omelette recipe online, and WOW, its fantastic! It can be prepped the night before and cooked in 10 minutes, so makes a perfect breakfast. You’re looking at around 300-370 calories for this oats egg omelette recipe, so scale accordingly to meet your own goals. The eggs are a great source of protein, and the oats are an amazing source of slow release energy so this recipe is guaranteed to keep you feeling full unlike a bowl full of sugar aka breakfast cereal. Enjoy!
