Some of you may have noticed that there’s a new kid on the block.  But this 22 year old is here to prove he’s more than just his biceps! Welcome to our new personal trainer – Joe Bradbury

Personal Trainer

What qualifications do you have?

I’m currently in my final year of my BSC Sport and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University. I also have my Level 2 and 3 in Personal Training.

Why did you want to become a personal trainer?

Fitness has been my passion since I was about 16 so I’ve always wanted to work within the industry. I love helping clients work towards their goals, especially when their goals are centred about increasing size & strength or burning fat!

What are your hobbies?

Other than fitness, my hobbies include watching rugby, walking my dogs and spending time with friends and family. I have also recently tried my hand at ballroom dancing!

What’s your top training tip?

Consistency is key!

What’s your favourite exercise?

I’d say pull ups are my favourite exercise. I also enjoy curls in the squat rack… but only in an empty gym!

What’s your least favourite exercise?

I’m not a big fan of lunges but I think that’s down to my lack of balance!

What music do you listen to whilst training?

I like to listen to some old school rock when I train, AC DC is a particular favourite!

You’ll catch Joe in our classes on Monday & Tuesday nights and Wednesday lunch times – come and say hi!
