motive8 Re-Opening Plans
As gyms across the UK are allowed to re-open we’re excited to welcome back old members and say hello to any new members. At motive8 we pride ourselves on the amazing community we have created and we can’t wait to see you all again.
We want to share the measures we have in place to ensure you have the best and safest experience during your workout. Therefore, we ask that you follow any Government guidance regarding hygiene and social distancing and that you also agree to the statement below during each workout:
- You do not have any Covid-19 symptoms
- You have not displayed any symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 7 days
- You are not waiting on a Coronavirus test result and have not received a positive test result in the last 7 days
- You have not been in close contact with anyone who has sympoms of Covid-19 or has had a positive test in the last 14 days
- No member of your household has Covid-19 symptoms
- No member of your house is waiting on a Covid-19 test result
During your workout, please be considerate to other members and the motive8 team and follows any social distancing and hygiene processes we have put in place. By working together this will help to minimise the spread of the virus.
Keep Your Distance
To allow for social distancing the following measures have been put in place:
Booking system for the gym, maximum users in the studio
Designated workout areas to minimise movement around the gym
Revised class numbers and all classes performed outside
Outdoor space for training
Our changing rooms are open but we encourage you to come in your workout kit and shower at home. If this is not possible, then the changing rooms will be limited to two users at any one time
Keep It Clean
We’ve stepped up our cleaning regime but we ask that you play your part too.
Additional hygiene stations in the gym
Wipes provided in the changing room to wipe down touch points, hair dryers and straighteners
Feel free to bring your own mat for your class or workout
Minimal equipment to be used in classes
All equipment cleaned before and after each class
If lockdown has left you feeling sluggish and you’ve lost track with your training then personal training is back! The perfect time to get you back in shape and back on track!
During our personal training sessions we’ll be following all of the same social distancing and hygiene measures as for the gym and classes. And if you don’t mind training outdoors then we’ll use our outside space to do your training session.
Whilst we adjust to the new norm, we’ve revised our opening times. We hope to increase these over the coming weeks.

The class timetable has been revised, as we adapt to the new norm we will add more classes to the timetable.
