So when was the last time you did something different on the treadmill and I’m not talking about the last 45 seconds when you’ve decided to do a sprint finish? I’m talking about a whole different way of structuring your runs.

So many people turn up to a gym and bang out the same 20mins of running week in week out, then they wonder why they don’t stick to their training plan and give up. Aside from being boring, this type of training is largely ineffective for the majority of most of the population.

So to give you a helping hand here are some great 20min treadmill sessions that will raise your metabolism to a greater degree, challenge your fitness more and best of all stimulate the mind.

The reason many people find running dull or even boring is the fact that it is something we have done since a very early age and therefore it fails to stimulate the mind. By simply manipulating the parameters of your run you not only make it more challenging to the body but also more exciting to the mind. This results in greater motivation, commitment, enjoyment and finally better performance.

Give it a go and reap the rewards!
