AMAZING RESULTS ON WEEK 6 OF THE MOTIVE8 WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMME!

 6 weeks ago we launched the motive8 Weight Loss Programme at one of our corporate facilities and we are seeing amazing results.  

There are 9 people on the programme and to date they have lost 8 ½ stone and 123 inches …..what an achievement! In just 6 weeks 3 people of the group have already lost over 1stone, with the highest weight loss to date being 1stone 8lb.

So, what is the key to the success of the programme? At the first session each member is given a comprehensive file about weight loss and how other lifestyle factors such as stress and sleep can affect weight loss, in addition to the importance of exercise and, of course, following a healthy diet. The pack also contains a eating plan to follow and all members are weighed on a weekly basis with weekly weight loss targets set at each meeting. So that the emphasis isn’t just about what the scales say but also about how people look and feel we also measure inch loss every 6 weeks.

For us this is not just about a quick fix and trying to get people to lose weight as fast as possible, but it is an educational journey which will empower people to make the right choices about the food they eat and also educate the members about other factors in their life to have as much impact on their weigh loss as possible. We want members to see this as a long term lifestyle change, something which doesn’t feel like a diet but a healthy eating plan which is sustainable in the long term…..and the feedback we are getting supports this.

 

The other reason the programme is successful is due to the support associated with the programme. There is a great support network between motive8 and the members and also between the members themselves.

On a weekly basis all members are asked to complete a food diary which is emailed to their motive8 instructor who then gives feedback about the good things they are eating and what they also may need to improve. We also email weekly recipes to add variety and stop boredom setting in. 

The support between the group is fantastic…..they celebrate each other’s success, they encourage each other to stay strong when one person may want to have that biscuit they crave for and they swap recipes.

And the final key to the success is that each person on the programme is determined to achieve their goals……as I’ve mentioned before, determination will get someone a long way in achieving their goals.
