- Don’t pay too much attention to government guidelines, make vegetables and fruit your staples!
- Make sure you eat within 30mins of waking to kick start your metabolism and drink at least ½ pint of water.
- Avoid carbohydrates completely after 7pm on non training days to avoid turning those carbs into unwanted fat in your sleep.
- Aim to always have a protein source with carbohydrates to reduce the sugar spike and fat storage.
- Snack frequently and often, and that’s not an excuse to eat mars bars! Snack on healthy nuts, fruit and vegetables.
