  1. Don’t pay too much attention to government guidelines, make vegetables and fruit your staples!
  2. Make sure you eat within 30mins of waking to kick start your metabolism and drink at least ½ pint of water.
  3. Avoid carbohydrates completely after 7pm on non training days to avoid turning those carbs into unwanted fat in your sleep.
  4. Aim to always have a protein source with carbohydrates to reduce the sugar spike and fat storage.
  5. Snack frequently and often, and that’s not an excuse to eat mars bars! Snack on healthy nuts, fruit and vegetables.
